Dentius Cares continues to make an impact during its March 2026 mission

In March 2026, a Dentius Cares team once again travelled to Madagascar for a humanitarian mission. Over the course of seven working days, our volunteers provided dental care to 436 patients and carried out 2,207 treatments. Prevention also played a key role, with toothbrushing workshops and oral health awareness sessions for children and their caregivers.

The mission built on Dentius Cares’ long-standing partnership with Les Enfants du Soleil. In addition to the annual visits to the two canteens in Tuléar, the team also returned to Antananarivo to further strengthen collaboration with local partners and support oral health initiatives. The education of the next generation of Malagasy dentists was another important focus, with four final-year dental students taking part in the mission.

Once again, the mission highlighted the value of sustainable collaboration. Thanks to the commitment of a multidisciplinary team, local partners and numerous sponsors, hundreds of children received high-quality dental care. At the same time, important steps were taken to further strengthen local prevention and follow-up, ensuring that the mission’s impact continues long after the team has returned home.
